What might be some of the key (generalised) differences between psychologists and coaches in relation to their respective approaches working with people on the climate and ecological crisis. What might we be able to learn from each other? And what might be some areas of opportunity for collaboration between CPA/CCA, and between psychologists and coaches?

Linda Aspey works on issues related to climate and environmental change with leaders, teams, therapists and coaches. A founding member of the Climate Coaching Alliance, she is also an active member of the Climate Psychology Alliance, leading on the CPA Climate Café Listening Circle offerings, including facilitator training and supervision. A trained therapist, coach, facilitator and supervisor, she delivers CPA talks and workshops on climate psychology.
Linda co edited “Holding the Hope: reviving psychological and spiritual agency in the face of climate change” and developed the freely available systemic conversations framework “With the Earth in Mind”. She is also global faculty at Time to Think and a registered member and fellow of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP/FBACP).
