Coffee in an Online Thinking Environment

You are warmly invited to gather online in a Thinking Environment from 09.30am to 10.45am UK time on the third Monday of every other month starting 20 January 2025.

I originally started these meetings during lockdown and carried on for a couple of years; now after a long pause, by popular demand they are back for 2025.

There is no charge. You can come to just one, or more.

It’s an opportunity to grab a coffee or tea and kick start your day thinking with others as we journey through 2025, and to practice and develop our skills in creating Thinking Environments and in thinking for ourselves, at a time when perhaps we need higher quality thinking than ever before.

Each session is 75 minutes – we start with a brief Round of introductions, then we go into Thinking Pairs or Dialogue, followed by an Open Discussion or Round and then we head off, full of ease yet with a renewed energy. It’s a confidential space; each time I will offer a wide open question for you have a think about, or you can bring your own, which can be a question that’s personal to your life, or about something much wider in the world – everything is welcome. It’s an open group with 12 places each time – so you might meet familiar or new faces.

Dates for 2025: 20 January, 17 March, 19 May, 21 July, 15 September, 17 November.

Who’s invited?

This is open to anyone who know a little or a lot about the Thinking Environment whether through being on a “Time to Think” course or short workshop, or having read Nancy Kline’s Time to Think books, or mine or others’ blogs and articles on the Thinking Environment. All are welcome. All you need is a basic understanding, a desire to develop your capacity to listen with genuine Ease and to enhance your own independent thinking, and to make time to integrate the beautiful 10 Components into your life. And ideally to benefit others too!

Booking is available now for the next 2 sessions, and there are 12 places for each date – if a date you want is full let me know and I will add you to a waiting list. And if you book and then find you can’t come, please cancel (the link will be in the booking email) so I can offer it to someone else.
